Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you remove them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for specific situations or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies, which are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a justified interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of his services. As far as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- used operating system
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address

This data will not be merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

The processing of the data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration is stored by us as long as you are registered on our website and is then deleted. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via contact form or e-mail, your details from the form including the contact data you provided will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This page uses the form builder uCalc for enquiry forms. Provider is the uKit Group, 4 Afentrikas, Afentrika Court, Office 2, 6018, Larnaca, Cyprus. The use of uCalc is in the interest of processing your request, where your e-mail address is transmitted when you provide it. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. More information can be found in uCalc's privacy policy https://ucalc.pro/en/privacy.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files which are stored on your computer and which allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising.

IP Anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the site, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

Browser Plugin

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the site (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Objection to Data Collection

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set to avoid your information from being collected on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.

For more information on how Google Analytics uses user data, please refer to Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

Demographic Characteristics of Google Analytics

This website uses the function "demographic features" of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google Account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described under "Objection to data collection".

Google Analytics Remarketing

Our sites use Google Analytics Remarketing features in conjunction with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

This feature allows you to link advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-related, personalised advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behaviour on one terminal (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your terminals (e.g. Tablet or PC).

If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browser history to your Google Account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalised advertising messages can be displayed on any device on which you sign in with your Google Account.

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target audiences for cross-device advertising.

You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by opting out of personalised advertising in your Google Account by following this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

The data collected in your Google Account is only collected on the basis of your consent, which you can give or revoke at Google (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). In the case of data collection processes that are not merged into your Google Account (e.g. because you do not have a Google Account or have objected to the merging), the data collection is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The justified interest results from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymous analysis of the website visitors for advertising purposes.

Further information and the data protection regulations can be found in Google's data protection declaration at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

Within the framework of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve the personal identification of the users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we may recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was directed to that page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie in your Internet browser under User Settings. They will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

Conversion cookies" are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising.

More information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in the Google Privacy Policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for specific circumstances or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Google Web Fonts

This page uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

More information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google Maps

This page uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can find more information about how we treat user data in Google's privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

If you do not agree with this processing of your data, it is possible to deactivate the "Google Maps" service and thus prevent the transmission of data to Google. You have to deactivate the Java-Script function in your browser. However, we like to point out that in this case you cannot use "Google Maps" or can only use it to a limited extent.

WhatsApp Instant-Messenger

On our websites, we offer our customers the opportunity to contact us via WhatsApp. WhatsApp is an instant messaging service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. During communication, personal information (such as name and phone number) is provided to us, and additional information (including communication metadata) is provided to WhatsApp, Inc., which is also processed on servers located outside the EU (such as the United States). WhatsApp shares this information with other companies within and outside the Facebook group of companies. For more information, see WhatsApp's Privacy Policy (https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy). WhatsApp is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TSnwAAG&status=Active) and thus provides a guarantee of compliance with European data protection laws.

The use of the service for the purpose of making contact is voluntary and initiated exclusively by the customer. We do not use this service for initial contact, for ongoing business correspondence or advertising purposes of any kind. We process the contact data exclusively in the context of customer acquisition and quoting and then delete them in WhatsApp within a reasonable period (generally 30 days). By choosing to use the instant messaging service to initiate contact, the customer consents to the use of their personal data for communication regarding the establishment of a business relationship and further processing by WhatsApp Ireland Limited. This consent can be revoked at any time for the future without reason by post or e-mail to us.

Twitter, LinkedIn, Xing and Other Social Media Providers

On our pages, we do not include "like"-/"follow"-functions of social media services such as Twitter, LinkedIn or Xing, but links to these providers. By using these links, you leave our pages and visit websites of the respective social media provider, whereby a connection to servers of this provider is established, possibly personal data in context with your account linked and disclosed to other users. We expressly point out that as the provider of the pages, we do not have any knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or of its storage and use by the social media provider. Further information on this can be found in the data protection declaration of the respective provider.

Facebook Conversion and Retargeting Tags

For marketing purposes, our website uses so-called conversion and retargeting tags (also called "Facebook pixel") of the social network Facebook, a service of Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA ("Facebook"). We use the Facebook pixel in its standard function (i.e. without the so-called "advanced matching" function) to analyze the overall use of our website and track the effectiveness of Facebook advertising ("Conversion"). We also use Facebook pixel to display personalized Facebook advertising messages based on your interest in our products ("retargeting").

Facebook processes data that the service collects via cookies and similar technologies on our websites. Facebook provides more information on this here: https://www.facebook.com/help/pages/insights. The data collected is anonymized to us, so we cannot identify users. Facebook, however, transfers the data to a server in the USA for evaluation and stores it there. If personal data is transferred to the USA, Facebook has committed itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield. Facebook does not conclusively and clearly state how it uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties, nor is it known to us. For more information about Facebook's privacy policy, please visit: https://www.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy.

You can deactivate the collection of data generated by the tracking functions and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the transmission to Facebook. Simply click on Disable Facebook Pixel.

However, if you agree to the collection, are a member of Facebook, and have allowed Facebook to do so through the privacy settings of your account, Facebook may also link the information collected about your visit to us to your member account and use it to target Facebook ads. You can view and change the privacy settings of your Facebook profile at any time.

Further Information About Email News ("Newsletter")

The following information will also inform you about the contents of our newsletter as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation procedures and your rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to the receipt and methods described.

Contents of The Newsletter, Double Opt-In and Logging

We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications containing advertising information (hereinafter referred to as "newsletters") only with the consent of the recipient or legal permission. Insofar as the contents of the newsletter are specifically described within the framework of the registration, they are decisive for the consent of the user. In addition, our newsletters contain information on digital transformation and digital marketing for small businesses, craftsmen and retailers (this may include in particular references to blog posts, lectures or workshops, our services or online appearances).

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or will only be obtained on a voluntary basis. We use these data exclusively for the dispatch of the requested information and do not pass these on to third parties.

The registration to our newsletter takes place in a so-called Double-Opt-In procedure. This means that you will receive an e-mail after registration asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with external e-mail addresses.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, e-mail address and their use to send the newsletter at any time, for example via the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

Use of The "MailChimp" Dispatch Service Provider

The newsletter is sent via "MailChimp", a newsletter distribution platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. Further information about the Privacy Policy of MailChimp can be found here.

MailChimp is a service with which the sending of newsletters can be organised and analysed. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address), these will be stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA.

MailChimp is certified according to the "EU-US-Privacy-Shield". The "Privacy Shield" is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.

With the help of MailChimp, we can analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an e-mail sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the e-mail (so-called web beacon) connects to the servers of MailChimp in the USA. In this way, it can be determined whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked. Technical information is also recorded (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are used exclusively for statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to tailor future newsletters to the interests of recipients better.

If you don't want MailChimp to analyse you, you have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.

Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data that you have stored with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted both from our servers and from MailChimp's servers after you cancel the newsletter. This does not affect data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area).

For more information, please refer to MailChimp's privacy policy at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

Registration Data, Statistical Survey and Analyses

To subscribe to the newsletter, it is usually sufficient to enter your e-mail address. In addition, we ask you to indicate your first and last name as well as your company name. This information is used to personalise the newsletter and to adapt the contents of the newsletter to the interests of our readers. Optionally, you can also leave your company address so that we can better inform you about your location.

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the MailChimp server when the newsletter is opened. Within the scope of this retrieval, technical information such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of recovery are first collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services on the basis of technical data or target groups and their reading behaviour on the basis of their retrieval points (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or access times.

Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. It is, however, neither our aim nor that of MailChimp to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognise the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different material according to the interests of our users.

Online Access and Data Management

There are cases in which we direct the newsletter recipients to the MailChimp websites. For example, our newsletters contain a link with which newsletter recipients can call up the newsletters online (e.g. in the event of problems with the presentation of the e-mail program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients can subsequently correct their data, such as the e-mail address. Likewise, the privacy policy of MailChimp is only available on their site.

In this context, we pointed out that on the websites of MailChimp cookies are used, and therefore personal data are processed by MailChimp, its partners and service providers (e.g. Google Analytics). We have no influence on this data collection. Further information can be found in MailChimp's privacy policy. In addition, we draw your attention to the possibility of objecting to the collection of data for advertising purposes on the websites http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/ (for the European area).

Termination Revocation

You can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent. At the same time, your approvals to its dispatch via MailChimp and the statistical analyses expire. A separate revocation of the dispatch via MailChimp or the statistical evaluation is unfortunately not possible.

You will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter.
